Lingling Wang

Assistant Professor of Finance

Lingling is an assistant professor of finance at UConn. Her research interests are in corporate and behavior finance, especially executive compensation, culture, and social issues. She has published in leading finance and accounting journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Review of Finance, and Contemporary Accounting Research. Her work has been featured in various media outlets, such as the CFA Digest, Harvard Law School Forum, and Family Business United. She has presented her work at many international and national conferences and various universities. Before joining the faculty at UConn, Lingling was on the faculty at Tulane University. She taught equity investments at Tulane and is now teaching fixed income securities and a Ph.D. course in corporate finance at UConn. Prior to pursuing an academic career, she worked as a CRM Project Manager and senior application specialist for Sony Latin America Inc. in its Miami office. She earned her Ph.D. in finance from Georgia State University.
