The Finance Department

The UConn Finance Department prepares students for success across a broad spectrum of finance careers, including banking, asset management and investment, corporate finance, financial planning, real estate, insurance, and healthcare management. Our curriculum blends strong analytical foundations with real-world application through experiential learning opportunities such as, student-managed funds that manage multi-million-dollar portfolios of real capital, faculty-mentored research, and strong internship pipelines and support. Students learn from renowned faculty who conduct cutting-edge research and bring those insights directly into the classroom, ensuring an education that is both intellectually rigorous and deeply connected to today’s evolving financial markets.
